Maoya Bassiouni
Maoya Bassiouni

Maoya Bassiouni was an intern, Project Assistant, at ProAct Network from July until December 2008. Maoya began to study environmental engineering three years ago when she realised the scope which this sector has to play in terms of improving the quality of life of displaced and otherwise disadvantaged people. Maoya has Swiss, Egyptian and American origins and speaks five languages. Maoya's other interests include photography, rock shows, train rides and ice cream.







David Loserian
David Loserian

David Loserian was an intern, Project Assistant, at ProAct Network from November 2008 until August 2009. He was finalizing his master programme at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, University of Geneva, in Switzerland. David had over three years field experience in community based natural resources management programmes in Tanzania, and some field study programmes in Bolivia and Sweden. Fluently, he commands two United Nations' working languages and Swahili spoken in many countries of East and Central Africa.





Patricia Recordon
Patricia Recordon

Patricia has a commercial background in international trade and exports and was ProAct's Intern from January until June 2010. She is very committed to nature and environmental matters in her private life, is a member of various local and international associations dealing with nature and wildlife protection, is also active in a local community supported agriculture association, has created a local exchange network, and is a journalist and reporter on a local TV broadcast dedicated to ecology and the environment. To enhance her expertise, in 2009 Patricia started a two-year bachelor education in environment and nature, with a focus on waste management. She speaks four languages, but is a very bad cook!
